They provide housing and support services to men, women, and children with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses.

Drop-in services include food pantry (Between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM on Wednesday), medical care coordination, housing placement, transitional care coordination, case management, independent living skills, Project FIRST (Formerly Incarcerated Rental Support and Training), housing support for youth living with HIV/AIDS, support groups, therapeutic recreational activities, transportation reimbursement and rapid HIV/AIDS-testing and counseling.

The Family Program at Schafer Hall provides safe and stable housing and support services to 30 single-parent families impacted by HIV/AIDS.

To qualify, a household must have at least one member with an HIV diagnosis and must have at least one dependent.
