Vision
Wreck Hunger Graduate and International Food Pantry is a student-led initiative on the Texas Tech University (TTU) campus that seeks to help address nutrition and food insecurity for international and graduate students.
This is achieved by providing access to fresh fruits and vegetables, perishable food, and other items such as household and personal care items.
The storage room also serves to provide comprehensive nutrition education and establish links between students and community partners.
Their mission:
No graduate or international student living in the TTU community will starve or compromise health due to a lack of nutritious food.
Raising awareness of hidden hunger on university campuses all over the country and creating and maintaining a network for the collection, storage, and distribution of food at TTU. To serve as a research center to help provide data on the wider issue of food and food security.
