Pantry opening hours:

Distribute food to those who need it twice a month, 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or as needed by appointment.

Donate food:

Especially peanut butter, tuna, beans, cereals, and canned fruit.

Fresh fruit and vegetables on the day of distribution are also highly appreciated.
Pantry Distribution:

Volunteers are needed from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to welcome guests and help them take their food to the car.

They need willing and joyful spirits, who can walk a lot and lift at least the weight of a bag of supplies.

Pantry Baggers:

Volunteers are needed to help pack groceries for distribution.

Baggers work from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays of the week preceding the pantry.

Workers must be able to stand and work, pick up the food box if necessary, climb the short ladder, and do it with great joy!

Storage room setup team:

The day before, volunteers needed help preparing the storage room.

When one group went to the food bank to pick up bread and other items from the distribution office, another group set up a table and took it out the next day for distribution.

These volunteers start working from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Trucks:

On the second Tuesday of the month, the NIFB truck delivers or orders at 2:00 p.m.

The shipment is received and the frozen items are stored in freezers.

Volunteers are needed to assist in this process.

Later that night at 6:00 p.m. more volunteers come and store the rest of the items.

Strong backs and cheerful spirits are needed.
